What kind of crafting classes do you offer?
-We offer Drop in Crafting, DIY Craft & Sip Classes and Private Craft Parties.
What is Drop in Crafting?
-Drop in Crafting is available at any time when we aren’t hosting classes or private parties.  Literally, just drop by our studio, choose your craft and start creating. We provide all of the materials and tools needed, written instructions and assistance from our Craft-Tenders when needed.  We have dozens of crafts for all ages, skill levels and budgets.
How do the DIY Craft & Sip Classes work?
DIY Craft & Sip Classes are offered most evenings plus some mornings and afternoons.  Choose a specific craft project you are interested in on our calendar of events and book your class.  Class reservations are handled through our website or can be done on the phone or by dropping by the studio.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a craft-tender who will check you into the class, show you to your seat, and provide you with all the tools and materials you will need for class.  We encourage our guests to arrive 15-20 minutes before their class begins so there is enough time to get situated, get your supplies organized, and make a trip to our Bar.

Once the class begins you will be given step-by-step directions by one of our skilled professional craft-tenders. They will guide you through the process and help you create a wonderful project.  Our craft-tenders offer both group and individual instruction throughout the process to ensure all our participants accomplish their goals.

By the end of the class, you walk out with a finished craft that you will love and all your friends and family will not believe you were able to make yourself!

And remember, it’s not just a class; it’s a fun night out!  We like to keep the drinks flowing and the good times rolling!

What is included in your class?
We provide all the materials and tools necessary to complete your craft projects.  Alcohol is not included, and a separate bar tab is your responsibility if you choose to order any beverages or food.  Other than that we provide everything you need!
Group booking?
If you are attending a class with a group of friends each participant will need to be registered for the class.  At the time of booking you are able to write the names of the participants you would like to be seated next to and we will reserve the seats for you.  If you are attending a class with a group of 10 or more people you may want to call the studio to ensure we have enough seats available to accommodate your group.  For groups of 12 or more you also have the option to book a private party in our party room.
Is there food?
Yes we do offer food. Our menu was carefully crafted by a local acclaimed chef.  We offer a variety of “elevated” finger foods and appetizers. We also have great wines, beers, and ciders to choose from to get your “creative juices” flowing.
Can we bring our own wine/food?
-We do not  allow our patrons to bring their own food or alcohol into the studio.  There’s really no need, we’ve got it all covered.
Can I host a private party?
Absolutely!  Corks ‘n Crafts is a great choice for your next event.  Our studio offers a private party room for groups of 12 to 20 people, or rent out the entire studio for up to 70 guests!  We can also come to you with our Pop-Up-Shop. We host everything from Adult Birthdays, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Children’s Birthdays, Corporate Events, Team Building and more.  You name it we can host it. To inquire about a private event call the studio, send us a message ~ info@corksncrafts.com or fill out our private event inquiry form.
Do I need to reserve my seat in advance or can I walk in?
We offer Drop in Crafting during times we aren’t hosting a class.  For DIY Craft & Sip classes we do accept walk-ins but we highly recommend making a reservation in advance in case the class sells out.  By registering for your class in advance it allows our craft-tenders to set up all of your supplies before you arrive and make sure your seating is reserved next to the other members in your group.
How do I make a reservation?
The easiest way is to book is online by clicking on “Event Calendar”, selecting the class you wish to attend and clicking “Add to Cart” for a normal Internet purchasing process. Or, you can call the studio and we would be happy to take your reservation over the phone. You can also stop by the studio during our operating hours and pay in person.
Do you have assigned seating?
We have assigned seating for all of our public classes to ensure that your entire group of family or friends can sit together. Let us know whom you want to sit with by adding their names in the notes section when you make your reservation. Private Parties do not have assigned seating.  The way our studio is setup there is not a bad seat in the house, however, if you have a seating preference, simply include it in your reservation details.
Is it ok to bring a friend who is not participating?
Unfortunately our studio does not allow for non-participants to attend a class.  We keep our class sizes small to allow our craft-tenders to adequately instruct all of our participants; therefore the seats are reserved for class participants only.
I have never done any DIY crafts before, can I participate?
You are not alone.   Our patrons’ range from first timers to experienced DIY’ers.  With step-by-step guidance from our professional craft-tenders, the process is easier then you think!  You will leave the class with the knowledge to recreate these crafts on your own, and a finished work of art to display proudly in your home.
When should I arrive?
We suggest you arrive approximately 15 minutes before class starts to avoid the rush at the bar, get settled in and start socializing with your friends. Remember this isn’t just a class, this is a social experience!
What if I need to cancel?
A full refund or rescheduling can occur if you cancel at least 48 hours before the class starts. Reservations cancelled at least 24 hours before the class starts have the option to reschedule for a later date. Loss of payment will occur for “no shows” or a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.
When can I see the next month’s calendar?
Projects are always scheduled at least 5 weeks in advance.  If you would like to be notified when the full calendar is published, be sure and sign up for our newsletter.
What clothing should I wear to class?
We provide aprons and gloves to protect your clothing but accidents do happen. There is no dress code here at Corks ‘n Crafts but be mindful of the studio environment and dress accordingly.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Yes, bring your smiling face and fun –loving personality, and get pumped up to have a good time.  That’s it! We provide everything else you need to participate in the class.
Do you have any non-alcoholic beverages available?
Yes, we have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages for your enjoyment.

We also offer specialty espresso drinks

What is a master class?
A master class is a two-part class intended for a more advanced crafter.   Projects are usually crafts that we have offered on our regular class schedule but they are more complex, take more time, and are twice the fun!!  Check out our schedule for master class offerings and make sure both dates work for you before booking the class. The first half of the craft is finished during part 1, we then store your project at our studio until you return to class part 2 to complete your project.
Do you offer classes for Children?
Absolutely!  We offer a variety of classes designed specifically for children and teens.  Our children’s and teens classes are listed on our calendar and specific age range recommendations are listed under the class description.  We currently do not offer a drop off service for our younger children and parents are required to attend the class with their children. Adults chaperoning their children will not be required to pay for a class, nor partake in the crafting project if the class is categorized as a KIDS CLASS.  However, if a class is marked as a FAMILY SESSION, then accompanying adults will be required to purchase a class seat.
